WHAT CLASS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

BEGINNER

Beginner is designed for those new to reformer Pilates or returning after time away. We focus on alignment, breath, form, and understanding the equipment. Expect a slower pace, detailed instruction, and foundational movement patterns to build strength safely and confidently. 


Who it's for:


  • Great for the first 3-8 classes and exploring if Pilates is right for them
  •  Anyone wanting to refine form 
  •  Clients who feel unsure in a faster class
  • Suitable for Prenatal or Postnatal / post-injury (with clearance) 

SIGNATURE REFORMER

Our Signature Reformer class is the Pilates on Ludlow experience. Expect a balanced, full-body workout targeting core, glutes, arms, and posture with intentional sequencing and smooth transitions. Challenging but accessible, this class offers layered options for multiple levels.


Who it's for:


  • Most regular clients
  • Familiar with springs & comfortable on the reformer
  • Knows basic cues (neutral spine, carriage control, spring changes)
  • Has taken 5+ classes
  • Suitable for Prenatal or Postnatal / post-injury (with clearance) 

POWER SCULPT

Sculpt is a higher-intensity reformer class designed to build muscular endurance and deep core strength. Expect longer holds, controlled pulses, and targeted sequences for glutes, arms, and abdominals. Transitions are quicker, and you will feel the burn! 


Who it's for:'

 

  • Comfortable with reformer flow
  • Knows spring changes without assistance
  • Has taken 10+ classes
  • Wants intensity and muscle fatigue
  • Not suitable for injury-prone or pre/post natal clients

ADVANCED REFORMER

 Advanced Reformer is our most challenging class. Expect dynamic sequencing, advanced progressions, single-leg work, tempo changes, and minimal breaks. Strong foundational knowledge and carriage control are required. For the pilates obsessed! 


Who it's for:'

 

  • Strong body awareness and knowledge of the reformer 
  • Strong plank endurance
  • Comfortable with single-leg and balance work
  • Confidently adjusting springs quickly
  • Not suitable for injury-prone or pre/post natal clients 

CARDIO SCULPT

 Cardio Sculpt combines reformer strength work with high-energy jumpboard intervals to elevate your heart rate while building endurance. Expect dynamic sequencing, core engagement, and low-impact cardio bursts.

  • Recommend 5+ Signature classes first
  • Must be comfortable changing springs
  • Not suitable for injury-prone or pre/post natal clients

ABOUT

MEET MADELINE

Madeline began her career in Public Relations, but her true passion revealed itself through Pilates. Drawn to the strength, clarity, and confidence the practice brought her, she shifted paths and completed her Kane School Pilates Teacher Certification. As the new owner of the studio, Madeline is excited to start teaching and to create a supportive, uplifting space where clients can feel strong, connected, and at their best.

INSTRUCTORS

CATHY

 A former dancer and choreographer, Cathy found her way to Pilates through a lower back injury - and never looked back. She's been teaching since earning her mat certification in 2007, later completing her full equipment certification through the Kane School in 2014. Cathy's classes strike the balance between therapeutic and athletic: she wants you to feel worked, not wrecked, and to discover strength at your own pace. When she's not in the studio, she's at home with Cherry, her beloved pittie rescue. 

MONICA

 Monica brings over two decades of movement experience to her teaching, rooted in Gyrotonic, Yoga Narada, and Pilates training through the Kane School. Since beginning to teach in 2022, her focus has been on helping clients build a deeper relationship with their own bodies—less about pushing through, more about listening in. Her classes leave you feeling both grounded and capable. Off the reformer, you'll find her dancing or cruising the city on her Brompton bicycle. 

MACY

 Certified through Spring Movement, Macy teaches athletic-based Pilates that's intentional without being intimidating. Her classes are clear, grounded, and designed to challenge a wide range of bodies in a way that actually feels sustainable. She meets you where you are—and makes sure you leave feeling strong. Fair warning: there will be Lana Del Rey. 

NORA

 Nora fell for Pilates the moment she walked into her very first class, and she's been sharing that passion ever since. Her sessions are challenging by design—hitting all the major muscle groups with a contemporary take on the fundamentals that will absolutely make you feel the burn. She has a particular soft spot for a good roll-back series and anything lunge-based. Her soundtrack of choice? Blackout by Britney Spears, obviously. 

SAORI

  A professional ballet dancer turned Pilates instructor, Saori channels years of performance training into classes built for real, visible results. She curates her own music mix for every session and brings the same level of precision to her choreography—favorites include Fox on Box and Reverse Lunges with dumbbells. You will get sore. You will feel sculpted. She promises. 

LIZZY

 A lifelong athlete who traded high-impact workouts for the reformer and never looked back, Lizzy has been practicing Pilates for over five years and teaching with the same enthusiasm she brings to everything else. Her classes are movement-forward and fun, with a heavy dose of personality and whatever album she's currently obsessed with. Expect to work, expect to laugh, and expect to leave feeling like your best self. 

SAMUEL

  Samuel brings a rare combination of Pilates precision and samba-dancer energy to every class. Certified as both a Pilates instructor and personal trainer, he builds high-energy, flow-state sessions designed to strengthen your core and build real confidence on the reformer. His background teaching children means his cues are always crystal clear, and every body is genuinely welcomed and challenged. When he's not in the studio, he's running, riding horses, or somewhere in the world on his next adventure. 

ELLYCE

  Ellyce is a contemporary-certified Pilates instructor and visual artist whose creative instincts shape everything she teaches. Her classes are energetic and intentional, with a particular love for the magic circle that her regulars know well. The same eye for composition she brings to graphic design and upcycled fashion shows up in how she builds a flow. Come expecting something that feels like it was made with care—because it was. 

ANNA

  A born-and-raised New Yorker, Anna started sneaking into early morning mat classes at her local YMCA as a teenager—and the Pilates obsession never stopped. She's since trained extensively across the city and beyond, earning certifications in mat, reformer, and Cadillac/Chair/Barrel from studios including Good Day Pilates, Natural Pilates, and Spring Movement. Her classes lean high-intensity with plenty of burn, but she's patient, attentive, and big on modifications—she wants every body in the room to feel seen and challenged in equal measure. 

BIANCA

   Bianca first encountered Pilates as a young dancer in the early 90s and has spent the decades since going deeper—into biomechanics, postural imbalances, injury rehabilitation, and the Kane School certification that tied it all together. As a dancer, acrobat, and Pilates rehab specialist, she brings the full picture to her teaching: a good burn, correct form, and genuine healing all at once. She works with a wide range of clients, ages, and conditions, guided by a simple belief: the path to great results is personal. Her brother's jazz album is the soundtrack. 

MATTHEW

  Matthew came to Pilates through a background in performance, drawn to the discipline as both a physical practice and a study in awareness, control, and resilience. His classes are built around alignment and stability, helping clients of all levels move with genuine intention—whether it's their first session or their five hundredth. He's equally comfortable supporting a beginner and pushing an experienced practitioner to go deeper. His favorite exercise is Swan on the Long Box, because nothing quite matches the feeling of a strong, supported spinal extension.
