您好 / Hello! from Angie, our resident bilingual-English/Mandarin Pilates instructor. Born in Taiwan, Angie attended college in Miami and later, at New York University. While at NYU she performed in Crystal Pite’s Polaris in Lincoln Center's White Light Festival. She has danced in China and Canada in pieces choreographed by Shen Wei/Shen Wei Dance Arts. For over 14 years Pilates has been a vehicle for Angie to indulge her deep interest in anatomy and movement. In her Pilates classes, expect to work hard and learn new things about your body while experiencing the joy and positivity she endeavors to impart. Angie loves chocolate, classical music, the color red, Central Park, and Snoopy!

Rosaly is a seasoned instructor who specializes in Pilates for rehabilitation across the diagnosis spectrum. Empathetic and intuitive, she works with clients of all ages and levels and has a sharp eye for discerning body imbalances. She combines her knowledge of biomechanics, functional anatomy and mindful movement to teach clients about the body and help them improve balance and overall well-being. Monica has over 20 years of experience as a movement specialist. A native Lower East Sider, she is skilled in both classical and contemporary Pilates reformer for all levels. She also teaches Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® classes, as well as Yoga Narada™. Her solid knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics informs her work in injury rehabilitation and chronic pain reduction. Michigander with a grounding in dance, Shayna graduated from The Ailey School of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. She launched her dance career with Disney Cruise Line and performed in productions of “Believe,” “Villains Tonight,” and “Jack’s Suite.” She was a Disney Dance Captain from 2015-2017. Since 2007 she has been cast in several premier dance events including “The Nutcracker” with Cincinnati Ballet, Dance Theatre of Harlem Street Festival, and Brooklyn Dance Festival at BAM. Shayna gravitated toward Pilates for cross training to support her dance practice. Meditation is a core part of her daily routine – her vacation of choice is silent retreat. She enjoys reading, the park, hiking, and snowboarding.

Gabby earned her Pilates stripes under the tutelage of Balanced Body Pilates Master Instructors Patricia Welter and Allie Collins. Born in Tampa, she graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Dance from Florida State University. She is a multidisciplinary dancer trained in ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and modern/contemporary forms. At FSU she became interested in helping dancers rehabilitate from injury with Pilates and understand its value in injury prevention. While emphasizing proper alignment and mind/body connection, Gabby aims to create a welcoming environment as she guides clients toward their fitness goals.

After studying professional dance in Europe, Mary amplified her experience by becoming a sports and fitness trainer and FIG Coach at the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) Academy. As a Pilates reformer instructor, she designs safe and progressively-challenging workouts for beginner to advanced levels. Mary enjoys guiding clients on their personal fitness journeys. Her favorite things: classical music, Italian and Greek food, long walks with her dogs, and sitting under the coconut trees at Rio's Copacabana Beach!
